Schoolgirl PVC! Check out this  PVC figure of a schoolgirl sitting on a desk… having a little snack… coming out next month from Native. The official nameof the figure is Creator’s Collection – Kotone Ousaka 1/7 Scale Figure. The figure is based on a Tony Taka illustration. The PVC translation really looks just like the illustration. The figure comes with the desk and accessories like a bottle of juice and a vegetable stick… if the banana is too much for you…and… of course… Everything is cast-off!

New posters for the upcoming movie, G.I. Joe:  Rise of Cobra are out. The posters features the characters such as Snake Eyes, Scarlett, Storm Shadow and Baroness. They remind me of the Matrix Reloaded posters.

Action figures for the new Star Trek movie will be put out by Playmates, makers of the the previous Star Trek figures that ran for years. The new Star Trek figures look pretty much like the old Star Trek figures except they are 6″ instead of 5″.  It would of cool if they were  5″  to give collectors continuity with all the old figures. The new movie is said to be more exciting than the old movies and geared to appeal to a fresh, new audience… too bad we can’t say the same about the figures.

ALIEN! Medicom is coming out with another Alien figure. This one is part of their VCD (Vinyl Collectible Dolls) line. It’s a stylized version done in the same comic book style as the other figures in the VCD line. The details are sick. The head is transparent and shows the skull underneath. The mouth opens up and the teeth pop out. Another cool feature is the design of the tail acting as a stand. Don’t get fooled by the deformed look in the picture, it’s not a small little figure. This figure is actually pretty big at 8″. This Medicom VCD Alien is currently on preorder exclusively at Sideshow Collectibles.

Action figures for the new Watchmen movie will hit stores soon. The figures are 6.75″ tall. You have to wait till the San Diego Comic Convention in July for a peek at Dr. Manhattan.

Here’s another Hot Toys figure. This one is the Batman:  The Dark Knight 12-inch figure. It is a figure and not a statue. It can be posed any way you like because it has  32 points of articulation. It has an alternate Bruce Wayne head you can swap on, a utility belt with cell phone, an activated mini-mine, a grappel gun, two batarangs, pneumatic wrangler, three sets of different hands, and a display base.

Coming soon is a 12 inch Iron Man Mark One figure packed with lots of features. It’s fully articulated  with 36 points of articulation and not just a statue. The helmet raises up to show Tony Stark’s face. Its battery operated in order to run the glowing heart and glowing light on his arm. The missile launcher works and it comes with two sets of hands.
