The ultimate in Star Wars Pop Culture Geekdom…An At-At boombox! This thing looks crazy black and the retro boombox is a perfect fit for the 1983 At-At. It’s a pretty cool idea and not that hard to do if you have a spare At-At to sacrifice. These pics of this At-At toy mod are from the website www.zen7790.uk.co. Check out the rest of the pics. I’ve seen purses and backbacks that look like boomboxes… what’s next?

Frank Frazetta Statues: Moon Maid, Egyptian Queen, and Sun Goddess
From ReelArt Studios comes statues right off of classic Frank Frazetta paintings. They look pretty close to the paintings. Check them out. Must haves for any Frazetta and Edgar Rice Burroughs fan.
Moon Maid
First up is Moon Maid. It looks great. The translation of the girl from painting to statue is pretty spot. You can spot it as a Frazetta piece a mile away! The statue stands 10″ high and made of polyresin. It’s limited to 2,000 pieces. You can buy her here.
Egyptian Queen
Next we have the Egyptian Queen. This statue really looks like the painting. It’s hard to tell which picture is of the statue and which is of the painting. Just shine a little light on the statue to truly make it just like the painting. The statue is made of polystone. It measures roughly 12″ x 12″ x 12″. It’s also limited to 2,000 pieces. You can buy her here!

Sun Goddess
Last is the Sun Goddess… the newest of the three. She stands, knife in hand, atop a mountain… as a big Frazetta cat watches over her. It stands 13″ tall and 9″ wide. This statue is also polyresin and limited to 2000 pieces. You can buy her here!

Takara Tomy GT-R Transformer
The Takara Tomy GT-R Transformer, Alternity, is out in Asia and should be hitting U.S. shores soon.
It has pretty decent details like clear red parts for tail lights and even disk breaks visible through the wheels. The GT-R is also diecast instead of plastic. It’s available to two colors: silver and red.
The 1/32 Transformer has a retail price of under $50 converted.

1/32 Diecast Blue Thunder Helicopter
Organic Hobby is distributing a 1/32 Diecast Blue Thunder helicopter from the 1980s movie Blue Thunder.
First of all, it looks really great. Second, it’s diecast. Other features include a pilot figure, opening cockpit, and spinning rotor blades and gun. My main problem just looking at the pics is the plain looking cockpit interior.
The Blue Thunder helicopter is made by Dream Machine Project and is available for preorder now for around $160… pretty good for a diecast anything this size. It looks like production is limited, so pick it up if you want it before it’s too late.

Mospeada Gunmetal version from Megahouse
Megahouse is putting a out a gunmetal and black version of the Mospeada figure. You may recognize the Variable Action Mospeada Black Blowsperior from the third story line of Robotech. The motorcyle parts attach to the armor of the characters. Unfortunately it’s gonna be a rare find because its a Tokyo Megahobby Expo 2009 exclusive, but will be available online at the Megahouse Treasure Shop. This figure looks a lot better than a lot of the other Mospeada toys of the past. It’s gonna be a little over $60.
