New Shunya Yamashita Figure!
Yamato is coming out with a new Shunya Yamashita PVC figure sculpted by Reflect… Enka Odo Dai Shogun Hattori Kiriko Ninja Version… It’s 1/5 scale and is a very accurate translati0n of the Yamashita illustration. It’s expected to arrive at U.S. shores in Jan 2010.

Yamato has a new sexy girl figure coming out… Iroha from the video game Samurai Showdown. It’s the next in line in Yamato’s Story! Image! Figure! EX collection. The figure is 1/6 scale and sculpted by Diskvision, the sculptor of the awesome “Eve” figure coming out soon. The figure comes with a display stand that looks like a wooden floor and weapons. Not sure if Iroha’s costume is cast-off, but it looks like it might be from the pictures. We were not totally sure if Yamato’s Arisa was cast-off and look at how great that turned out for those of us who picked one up. Iroha is up for preorder now and is expected to arrive in August or September from Yamato USA.

Finally… more Shunya Yamashita figures. Yamato is releasing two new figures based on artwork by Shunya Yamashita, designer of the upcoming bishojo Marvel figures.
The first one is Emaretta-Chan. She comes with a cape, sword, and skull base. The cape comes off and it looks like the top may also “be cast-off”. The sculpt stays really true to the original illustration. The sculpt was done by Sunny Day, who also guitar girl, Arisa … great stuff. Expect this to arrive around September for around $80.
The second figure is Roxanne. She comes with a sword and base. The sculpt is also true to the original artwork and that top looks so so shiny. The sculpt on this one was done by REFLECT, who also brought us Non-Non. Expect Roxanne to arrive a little bit later in October for around $90.

Morigan from the Darkstalkers videogame by Capcom is coming out in voluptuous PVC form. The figure is being put out by Good Smile and sized at 1/6. It’s scheduled for release in Japan in July with America following a few months after. Check out more pics below.

Sexy Pool Player Figure: Hustler by Orchid Seed
Looks like we have a companion for the Tony Taka Schoolgirl “Banana” figure. Orchid Seed is putting out a figure based on a Jin Happoubi illustration of a sexy pool hustler.
The figure leans on a part of a pool table, has a pool stick and holds the “Nine Ball”. You can choose to display her with her shirt buttoned or unbuttoned (you dirty dog) and with her miniskirt on or off. It’s not yet clear if the shirt is totally “cast-off”.
Sweet Body: Husler comes out July 31.

Out now is Ringo Nayamo from the series Air Gear buy Yamato Toys. It’s a really good looking figure… bikini and roller skates… can’t go wrong. It comes with a bag you can put on her head???

One more addition in our quest to bring you fine schoolgirl pvc figures.
From Max Factory and Good Smile comes the figma Makina Hohimura… a schoolgirl wielding dual machine guns and her bag, of course.
The figure is of Makina Hohimura from the anime Shikabane Hime. It has a lot of features like plenty of articulation for many different poses, flexible plastic uniform, parts to attach to the gun to make it look like it’s firing, two facial expressions: one serious and one with gritted teeth, various interchangeable hands, a poseable stand, and a limited edition schoolbag for the first release. It has an Asian release in April. U.S. release is in May.
Check out his cool little guy. It’s a deformed Mitsubishi Zero fighter that transforms into a robot called Bomber Zero. It’s still a prototype by Rohby with no definite info on release. The toy looks really really good just as a plane, it doesn’t even need to transform. But, I guess we get the added bonus of it being able to transform. More info to come.
