A little bird dropped me a line about this kick a@@ photoshoot in Bizarre mag. Bizarre magazine has a superheroine special this month with a crazy hot take on Silk Spectre from the Watchmen movie. The photoshoot features model Olivia Rabanal in a super sexy outfit. The comic book background props are really great too. The ultimate in Star Wars Pop Culture Geekdom…An At-At boombox!  This thing looks crazy black and the retro boombox is a perfect fit for the 1983 At-At. It’s a pretty cool idea and not that hard to do if you have a spare At-At to sacrifice. These pics of this At-At toy mod are from the website www.zen7790.uk.co. Check out the rest of the pics. Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li comes out this Friday. It revolves around Chun Li and includes other characters from the Street Fighter video game like Vega, Bison,  and Balrog. Kristin Kreuk from Smallville plays Chun-Li… good fit. It doesn’t look like she’ll be wearing her costume though… at least she still throws energy balls.  It’s also good they didn’t make her look like an X-Men.

A third viral video is out for the Watchmen movie from www.thenewfrontiersman.net. This one is Who watches the Watchmen?- A Veidt Music Network (VMN) Special- 1983.  It’s an MTV style show about the Watchmen circa 1983.

Moon Maid

First up is Moon Maid. It looks great. The translation of the girl from painting to statue is pretty spot. You can spot it as a Frazetta piece a mile away! The statue stands 10″ high and made of polyresin. It’s limited to 2,000 pieces. You can buy her here.

Egyptian Queen

Next we have the Egyptian Queen. This statue really looks like the painting. It’s hard to tell which picture is of the statue and which is of the painting. Just shine a little light on the statue to truly make it just like the painting. The statue is made of polystone. It measures roughly 12″ x 12″ x 12″. It’s also limited to 2,000 pieces. Sun Goddess

Last is the Sun Goddess… the newest of the three. She stands, knife in hand, atop a mountain… as a big Frazetta cat watches over her. It stands 13″ tall and 9″ wide. This statue is also polyresin and limited to 2000 pieces. You can buy her here!

One more addition in our quest to bring you fine schoolgirl pvc figures.

From Max Factory and Good Smile comes the figma Makina Hohimura… a schoolgirl wielding dual machine guns and her bag, of course.

The figure is of Makina Hohimura from the anime Shikabane Hime. It has a lot of features like plenty of articulation for many different poses, flexible plastic uniform, parts to attach to the gun to make it look like it’s firing, two facial expressions: one serious and one with gritted teeth, various interchangeable hands, a poseable stand, and a limited edition schoolbag for the first release. It has an Asian release in April. U.S. release is  in May.
